About

Calne Methodist Church is an amalgamation of two Methodist Churches.  They were Calne Weslyan Methodist Church, built in 1876 on land given by Lord Lansdowne, and Calne Primitive Methodist Church built in 1878.   The two churches joined together on December 19th 1965, to form Calne Methodist Church.

The church buildings have been subject to an extensive refurbishment programme which was designed by the architect, the late Mr Alan Bristow.   The church has a choir, Young People’s Church and weekly Warm Spaces.   It is also the venue for community activities.
