I was born in South Wales but as a child, the family emigrated to Canada.  Hugh and I married in 1977 and we now have four married children and nine grandchildren ranging in age from 7 months to 20 years old.  Our one son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren live in Northern Ireland and the rest of the children and grandchildren presently reside in Ontario, Canada.

My undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Religious Education at Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, Ontario and then I commenced the first year of an MA course at Conrad Grebel Mennonite Theological College in Waterloo including several courses in their Peace and Conflict Studies Programme.  My husband Hugh and I moved to Shropshire in 2006.  I trained for ministry at Queen’s College in Birmingham where I received a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Theological Studies with a dissertation project in Alzheimer’s and Spirituality, the personal experience I gained from caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s and as a chaplain at a residential care home helped to feed into this study.

My first ministerial appointment began in 2012 with the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District in the Shropshire & Marches Circuit.  I am interested in joining in with the mission of God where He is already at work in the Wiltshire Area and encouraging the congregation in their special gifts of ministry.  I would like to continue my online studies with an emphasis on church growth.  My hobbies include, walking, reading, listening to music, travel, and recently crocheting blankets for some of the grandchildren.
